InnovAge at home help is currently available in Colorado, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Virginia. However, the company has recently been facing a number of problems with their program. InnovAge worked with her from 2010 through 2018. She claimed that she was often asked if she could work more than eight hour days. Due to InnovAge's difficulties in keeping staff, she claimed that she was sometimes forced to work extra hours. Because of this, she found herself often doing tasks that could have been done by nurses or medical assistants.
The company's services have caused complaints among clients who said they could not receive adequate service. The program was shut down by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in September 2021, which meant it could no longer accept new Medicare clients. It also disclosed to investors that it had paid over $13 million to the Medicaid program in Colorado and that the state attorney general asked for information about billing.
